DECATUR POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Decatur Police Department is dedicated to serving the citizens of Decatur. The department has 4 full time certified officers and 6 part time certified officers, providing the town with 24 hour police coverage. The department also has a drug dog that was purchased by generous donations from businesses and citizens of the community. The dog is used for enforcing drug laws and is used regularly in local schools educating students on drug prevention.
